Walter Angapukotanka Kalada popularly known as Walter Anga is a Nollywood actor, model, television personality and a philanthropist.
Born 12th January in Port-Harcourt, River State, He is the third of five children, originally from Ogu, in Ogu/Bolo local government area of River State.
Walter is a gifted, creative, and skilfully talented actor.
He is a graduate of the University of Port-Harcourt with a Degree in Theatre Arts. In 2000 he recieved his first award for Best Supporting Actor on Stage after his outstanding performance in a play titled “EDUFA” in Uniport
in 2002, He Featured in his first movie “Labista” alongside Emma Ehumadu, Jerry Amilo and Ernest Asuzu.
Walter rose to fame in 2003 after featuring in the Nollywood blockbuster “New Jerusalem” and has since starred in over 150 movies some of which include Mission Impossible, Heart of a Fighter, Deep Water, But I Love You, Brothers Battle, Dance of Grace, Extreme Measure, Nneka My Daughter, Bloody Carnival, Tears from the Grave etc.
He is married to Esther Anga and their marriage is blessed with four kids
Walter once confessed in interview that he had been sexually harassed by women before, but managed to overcome the temptation by the God grace.
He’s been nominated and has several awards to his name, some of which include Best Actor of the Year at the City People’s Entertainment Awards, Most Promising Actor in Nigeria at the Africa Movie Academy Awards and Best Supporting Actor in Nigeria at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.
