Nasir Yammama is the founder of Verdant, an Agri-Tech company that offers innovative solutions to farmers and other stakeholders for improved food production using novel technologies.
Verdant offers mobile agricultural extension, market information, managerial support, and access to financial services to smallholder farmers.
Nasir has a Master’s Degree in Creative Technology from Middlesex University, London.
He has won many competitions across the globe, such as the competition for mentorship and business master class with Richard Branson in 2014.
He has also won several awards, some of which includes being listed in the 2017 Forbes 30 under 30, 2018 Forbes 30 Most Promising Young Entrepreneurs In Africa, the Queen’s Young Leaders’ Award in England, among others.
