Fast rising actor, Jammal Ibrahim (Delivery Boy) is set to release his directorial debut, a short film titled ‘Pause’.

Shot in Senegal by Mamoune, the movie focuses on an abstract representation of the disruptive nature of the coronavirus pandemic using the story of a man’s selfish ways as it relates to nature and time. It stars Ibrahim, popular on-air personality, Wana Udobang and Barthelemy Ndane Senghor. In supporting roles are Kewe Lo, Cedric Alfred Dossou and Didier Badji.

According to the first-time director, ‘Pause’ is inspired by the frustration of his four-month stay in Dakar, Senegal due to the pandemic.

In a brief chat with Pulse Nigeria, Ibrahim revealed he arrived Senegal in March, 2020, shortly before Nigeria closed her international borders.

“A trip which was meant to last only a few days but is still ongoing with no current foreseeable end date. Each passing day sees me hankering for feedback from the Nigerian Aviation sector”, said Ibrahim.

An official release date for ‘Pause’ is yet to be announced.
